  • wierd markings/falloff map



    somthing strange going on here. its a vray mat with falloff in the reflection slot with glossy reflections...

    iv tryed changing the subdivs from 8-50 and the problem was still there...iv also swiched it to interpolation, that got rid of the problem but id rather not use them.

    any ideas on how to get rid of it?

    You might try lowering the Reflect/refract cutoff.

      i tryed lowering it but did no good...the look of the marking changed though.

        Well, try setting the Cut-off threshold on your reflective materials lower (you can even try 0.0), if that doesn't help use Adaptive QMC image sampler.

            Are You sure You are not having doubled faces there...
            i had similar problem - was even worse... then i realized there were
            clones of some objects one over another...

              just looked and there are no double faces, hadent thought of that though.

              it seems that if I change the angle enough it goes away...very strange, but changing to adaptive has fixed it totaly
