  • Material Rendering Differently On Different Solids

I am rendering an image using a metal-like material, and it is rendering differently on 2 differently shaped objects. The tube on the right is how I'd like it all to look, but the elbow tube on the left, is very patchy and pixelated. How can I fix this? Attached is an image of the two solids I'm talking about, as well as the material settings.

At a guess there are two sets of polygons making up the curved pipe, and they have different triangulations. For each double surface the renderer is giving half of each, depending on the order of construction of the polys. Check your geometry.

What StufishIT said. If the issue persists, do attach/send the scene so we can take a look.

You guys were totally right, I don't know how I didn't think the actual object could be a problem. There was a duplicate solid of the elbow tube in the same spot as it for some reason. Thanks so much for the help!
