Vray 7.00.04 Hotfix 1 - vdenoise.exe virus?

I received this error when installing the November 19th release of vray 7 for 3ds max 2025. I downloaded directly from my Chaos account. Would this be why some other users are seeing issues with the vdenoise in this version? And is this safe to install?

So am I the only person that ran into this issue while installing the latest version? Has anyone else experienced this?

Similar thread. If the files are downloaded from the Chaos website, there won't be any issues. Mark them as exceptions, if the pop-up persists.

Same here. It happens only since yesterday on two different workstations. Only with vray 7 for max 2024. We installed then Hotfix1 and again warning from windows defender.
On the other hand, The vdenoise.exe from Vray 7 for max 2025 does't cause any issue.
I assume there's no need to have both since it is a stand alone tool but is it save to restore the quarantined file?
