  • 3D Displacement problem

    hi to all,
i have a problem with an old projekt.
we've done an animation a while ago, renderd in PAL
and i try to re-render just one still in Hi-res for print.
there is still some displacement in there.
in PAL he tooks 20 min per frame, and in hi-res
i have startet to render yesterday at 17.00 and right now he is still at the first pre-pass!
    i'am using 3d displacement, on resolution 3507x2480
    irr.+LC
he didnt run out of memory, he's still at 1,4GB.
i'am on the way to render with 2d displacement, but i dont know if it works yet.
    can anybody help?

    thanks and best greetings

    edit:
the 2nd problem: does anyody know how to circumvent the task-timeout in the backburner? we have increase it, but he still gives an error at 600 min.

    check your irradiance map settings.
You might have to reduce the min and max values for the larger print still.

                  wich options do you mean?
in the backburner monitor i've allready tried to set it to 6000, but he nicely ignored it.

                  is there another way?

                    mabey 6000 is not enough...
                    make sure enable is marked
