Hi. I'm using viz06 with the last build of vray 1.46.xx. Everything was working fine, and then out of nowhere, now when I render, the raytrace engine pops up, says it's subdividing array, and then hangs. Any ideas? Is this a viz problem? I can turn off the viz raytrace engine, but then it's dark dark dark...

thanks guys
there was one of those pesky arch mats in the scene. I don't know how it got there, but a quick conver to vray fixed that. Now my issue is that I can't seem to render above 3600x2400. Just unhandled exception error and bye bye viz. I'm using frame buffer and set to aquire from max scene. QM for primary irr and light cache for 2nd. Actually, just the settings from the thread on "Universal V-Ray settings (well, almost)" thread on the tips & tricks section. There's no vray log as it doesn't get that far.
Thanks for the noob q&a!

try changing your memory settings in the system rollout to dynamic memory see if that helps. It might be a bit slower, but it should render.
