Doing a smaller Crop render using previously saved IRR map, but for some reason it's taking longer to render than if I'de started from scratch with the whole render including calc time.
This is in fact a way to notice your irradiance maps are not being accessed correctly or, as u have found, they are either corrupt or dont match with the current geometry in the scene: the render slooooows down. If you find a render with precalcd irradiance maps is going much slower than it should be, you will probably see there are illuminations artifacts here and there. Time to check the GI solutions!
