  • notebook, /3gb and windows sp2 troubles

    hey guys,
i hope everyone has passed by the same problem i am envolved now and can help me. Well, i have 3 pd 3.2 over here and i've been using switch /3g sucessfull since i dont install sp2, i dont know if any of you there use /3gb plus sp2 but over here it never works fine. well , i just bought a notebook centrino duo and it came with windows media center with sp2 instaled, when i try to use the /3gb on it, i got plenty of errors and 3dmax cant even start. What i would like to know is if there is a tip to use /3gb and sp2. I've notice that always when the stantment " no optin " appear in my initializated boot , the /3gb cant works fine.

    any help please?

silver- if you are having problems with /3gb try using /USERVA=3030
Its basically the same as /3GB but it tends to work on machines that cant run /3GB
