Hi there,
I work at www.ingreme.com and it's the second time we're making some complex liquid simulations. From the first movie we used also v-ray but since it was a 75 frame animation, we could get rid of the problem in post, but this time is different.
So, if you have any tip of how to avoid face holes problems using high mesh settings, that would be great
I attach some temp renders so you can see the difference using three different render's.
Thanks,
Rui Romano
PS: Some of the things i've already tried... tried with v-ray light and standard spot. Standard spot avoids this face hole if i use standard material. And if i don't use reflections over v-ray material, it seems fine. So, i was assuming this could be reflection problem over v-ray but i don't know how to avoid them...
Also tried modifiers to cap face's, meshsmooth, u name it.
mental ray with occlusion shader
original mesh topology
v-ray render with v-ray material and reflection with 0.6 glossiness
v-ray render with standard material with no reflection
