forest and planes plugin itoo software

does anyone have problems with these plugins?

the planes don´t work at the moment: the colors are messed up.
forest plugin work fine..

i have both the 2.0 version and the 2.3 version and all works fine. If you have problems with itoosoft stuff and email them you'll get almost instant response.

Never had a problem with colors messed up. One thing is to make sure you never have 2 planes on top of each other.

ok worked for the scene.

but now a new problem:

fresh scene, planes with multimat, planes material-> planes black
same multimat with standard material->fine

raytrace?why don t u convert the material into a vraymaterial?

planes material lets you set the size per tree in the material.

haven't tried it yet as i just updated to the 2.3 version, but it would kinda suck if its not usable.

planes material is the standard mat for this kind of plugin.

I have ran into that problem when using TIF or TGA files with an embedded alpha channel. Sometimes if I have cast shadows enabled for the trees they render out black like that. try disabling you tree shadows and see if that fixes the problem. Another work around is to save your TGA and TIFF files as seperate alpha and diffuse .jpgs .

the trees you see are just for the camera.
the trees that cast shadows are not shown.

the bitmaps are jpegs...
