  • Problem with RC3 and Disconnected Pflow events

    If I have a PFlow source that is on and events in the Particle View that are not connected, I get a crash. Can anyone else repro this?

    Edit: Should have added
    Max9 32bit
    Win XP pro

        It is a crash...not much of an error...just says max is going to close.

        To repro it just create a standard PFlow system and disconnect the events from the Render event. Than render with VRay. To avoid the problem you have to actually turn off the Events or the Render Event.

              ok i can confirm this.
              Max 9 (64bit) RC4 - hangs when updating object (OF Source 01->Event 01)
              Max 8 RC4 - give an unhandled exception calling evalworld state

                I can reproduce that here, and it will be corrected, but for the time being it will render fine if you turn off the disconnected events.

                Best regards,
