  • 100% self illumination with Vray camera

    Hello,

Ive been trying to recreate a specific type of material that would stay intact by the exposure of the vray camera.
Its the type of situation that can be easily recreated by using standard material with 100% self illumination and using the standard camera.

The reason why i am asking is that i am obviously using the vray camera and i want to place some trees-bitmaps in the scene. And i want to retain their RBG values. If i use vray light or RGB multiplier, i am not able to guess its value so that the bitmap tree has the same RGB values in the render as on the texture.

Hope I have explained this well enough

Does anybody know how to solve this?

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

    Martin

Render a self-illuminated plane with just plain white color; when it renders, make note of the resulting RGB value, and then set the self-illumination multiplier to 1 divided by this value.
