  • Changing Instanced Material /3DS Max

    Hi all,

    got a little question.

    If i want to change a shader kompletely, but still want the new shader be instanced within all the other materials like the old one was.

    Normaly, if i change the shader or pick another one out of a library the instance get lost.

    Is there any trick?

    Hi,

    there's a button "Put to scene" in the Material Editor which should do what you want.
