Is the spawner running as a service? If so then it is likely you have a permissions issue or possibly drives unmounting.

Spawner is not running as a service. Am I the only one with this problem? It seems pretty ridiculous that I can no longer use DR with these (2) render slaves.

Now, other render slaves that were rendering fine are doing the same thing. There is seriously something wrong with the DR. I noticed also messages of various render slaves not responding.


I think it was a BIG mistake updating to max 9 and vray 1.5 sp1.....in my case anyway. Now there is no turning back and have no idea how to finish work now.

yes....unc paths. I have not changed anything about the setup except for the fact of installing max 9 and the recent version of vray. Previously all worked completely fine.

have you put vray_dr.cfg in every slave?.. was one of my problems...

i can t really tell u whats going wrong, but for me judging by ur description and ur posted images it has got to be due to some network problems imho...
