This is a problem we encounter very frequently and seriously it piss me off!
The problem seem to be caused by a corrupted geometry but I can't tell when it got corrupted. The problem IS NOT CAUSED by a lack of memory(sue at 99%): I already rendered scene with about 20 milions of poly without problems and some scenes with 100 000 polys make me sick. I have a dual Quad with 4Gb RAM, win Xp 64bits, max 9 sp2 and vray 1.5
Like you can see in the picture, one of the doors is corrupted(or all!). All of them can be rendered alone WITHOUT the wall or ONE of them WITH the wall. The rendre crash in the BUILDING RAYCAST ACCELERATOR pass.
So the duplicated door make an interraction with the wall who made VRAY crash?! I tried instanced and copy, no diffference. Sometimes, it's also just a single object.
We have this problem very often, maybe with 50% of our scene. It's very time consuming and frustrating for all the team.
