  • DR problems some buckets has too high light

    DR problem!!
some buckets if one pc is added to the list of servers for DR give too high light respect other buckets!
I verifyed non including it the render with the other servers came out as well, with it the buckets calculated by this pc are completely white!
SO i verifyed maps are the same, units the same, vray sp2 on all pc all servers except the one who send the DR calculation who is workstation installed.
I reinstalled on the pc that give problem vray but nothing better
    hope in helps
I sent many e-mail in these weeks to Vlado but nothing i got as reply so I asked here.

    Thanks in advance
    Pengo

be sure to tell your IES files to also use UNC path. Check in Asset Register that all paths are correct. On the slave pc's run spawner application instead of service. If you already doing that try running as service instead.
(90% of the time when I get buckets from dr brighter or darker than rest it is to do with ies lights.)

Sometimes you have to tell ies lights twice what the path is as the 1st time path does not get saved. This seems like a max bug to me.

    Good luck!
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Such problems are typically caused by missing maps of some kind. You can turn on the "Check for missing files" option in the System rollout of V-Ray to force the render slaves to check for missing files.

        Best regards,
        Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

          Hi Vlado
Thanks for your reply u have many e-mails by me in those two weeks and in the latest there is the link to the scene that indicate the other problems in the scene if u could take a look to optimize those would be great.

About map before send the DR render i open the scene in each server to be sure every pc give not missing map error at the start and no message i got so not map problem i'd say, but i'll try again to make u know.

thanks again hope in more depth response by e-mail
          have nice day
