  • vRay IES files and vRay Camera

    Hello all!

Im running into an issue regarding vRay IES lights and vRay Physical camera.

My system units and my display units are all set to millimeters and my light units are set to international. However when I render out the scene with a standard camera setup for interior shot with a window the IES lights do not show up at all. The vRay IES setup doesnt display what units the IES light is and when I bring in different IES files it changes the power to what im assuming is the correct amount for that particular light. Am i doing something wrong here?

    Kind Regards

    Ryan

I've had the same issue and would like to hear if someone has an answer for this issue. I can never promise accuracy of lighting.

Take a look at this topic:

I've had the same issue. Have you tried to disable the exposure in VrayCam? It seems to render with the "correct" intensity.
