When we render out a separate AO pass, we use an material override in the global switches. However I've just noticed that when the render dialogue pops up all of the bitmaps in the scene are being loaded. It even happens when I turn of maps in global switches.
Is that normal, seems like an enormous waste of resources when your using a material with no textures or am I being dense again?
