Hello,
Just updated my hardware and software--i7 workstation with 12 GB DDR3 Ram on Windows 7 prof 64 bit. (all max 2009 64bit +Vray 1.5 SP3a)
Slave Quad Q6600 + 4 GB Ram/ windows xp 64bit
It seems that DR does not work.....I connected the network drive (Z /all max stuff) as usually from the slave---all windows firewalls off...i have network access on folders between the two computers.
Vray installtion quite normal.....when it comes to DR: Spawner starts normal.
I get no failure notices in the Vray Log (Box)---just scene transfered to XXX.XXX.X.X (IP) and starting in brown color.....then i can see in the task manager that CPU usage etc is raising to 25% for some seconds---the 0% and nothing...
no failure notice like render host failed etc.....
just the workstation renders with 8 buckets---no slave
ok there comes now also the failure notice that the render host is unkown is not responding....
with win xp 32bit and winxp64bit (slave) everything worked fine- just for info
Any ideas?
Thank you!-never change a running system---i changed...lol
