Environment Fog - SP4 issues

    The rays are traced from the camera. So when you move the camera, the positions of the samples also change and with coarse settings it means lots of artifacts.

      That makes sense - but also sucks because it means mad-as-hell rendertimes for the stuff I'd like to do with this. :I

      Weird though, because I made a test today with a much simpler model, perlin marble noise again, but much higher step size and had the camera follow a path around it - with no visible artifacts except a bit too much noise.

      Does world scale play into this in any way?

        It might depend on fog density too, to some extent... You can see similar artifacts in the examples here:

          Thanks for your replies - I'll do a bit more trial and error to see if I can find a compromise that doesn't look like one.
