      do you double checked yours bitmap pager settings?
      I just realized that for my new scenes is always checked by default, that's not good

        How do you turn it off in 2010, it seems Max has removed it from the rendering tab in the preferences

          Nevermind, I got Blevins script to to turn it off, I havent checked if it will help with the lagness yet or not, will report back

            it's at the very bottom of the common tab in the render setup dialog
            I think it's present only in the SP1 update

              yeah that didn't help either, oh well, turning off one of the cores did the trick. Thanks for all the feedback.

                I'm almost sure it's a XP issue, never saw this with Vista or Windows 7.
