    http://www.3delicious.de/spielwiese/...IGHT-ERROR.jpg

i ma having this error wirh vray 1.5 sp5 in max 2010-64 bit under windows7-64.
It started when i added a VRayAmbientLight to the scene that already contained a VRayLight set to Dome and a direct light as Sun. I switched the dome light off and the ambientlight on and back and it started to happen every time.
The original scene contains a Poser Character brought into Max with PoserFusion that then was cached with SuperMesher since PoserFusion causes nothing but trouble and crashes.

    What does that error mean?

I attached a stripped and collapse scene file here

    Thanks in advance!

Hm, I have no problems rendering the scene. Judging by the fact that it's called "Multiscatter..." does it mean you are using multiscatter with it (doesn't look like it as I didn't get a warning about missing plugins). Does it work if you remove the MultiScatter plugin?

          Best regards,
          Vlado

it does here, multiscatter seams to be the problem indeed. however i need it to populate the scene

            thanks for looking into it!
