Hello all,
So I am aware that when exporting a vrscene from max, all the geometry must be selected as well as making sure they are at the subD level that you wish to render at. and have the camera selected and be looking through it in the viewport
then Export
Everything seemed to export fine, or so I thought.
When we ran the render through, first issue was, a piece of geometry seemed to not move with the main object (a wing) and then the entire surface of the object looks as if it has a very intensive BUMP on it. The windows no longer look transparent, and
As well as the Camera being in the right spot, kinda looks like its shifted a frame to the left but the remaining animation on it is ok.
Is there an issue exporting vrscene files from max with objects that have MANY parts? Parenting? motion modifiers?
Is there any documented process on exporting VRSCENE files?
Any way to diagnose these issues?
Is there a need to convert surface parameters to a Vray friendly format ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would attach a photo but under NDA I dont think I can,
Vlado if your interested I might be able to get you a photo for comparison.
Thanks
