  • Viewport (with safe frames) does not match render

    Ive attached an image to show you what I mean. Not had this issue before..

    Is there distortion on in vray camera?

      No distortion on for both the camera or camera settings (render rollout).

            Have you tried switching to a different renderer? As it might not be a Vray specific issue.

              With the standard renderer (still looking through the vray physical cam) it renders fine.

              I'll send you a stripped back scene now Vlado.

                This is because of the vertical offset of the physical camera. Unfortunately we could not get the viewport to match the correct result from the rendering for this parameter. In this case, the viewport is wrong.

                  So, is this something that will be fixed ? or is this something that I need to work round ?

                    We spent quite a bit of time trying to fix it, but we couldn't get the viewport to display what we wanted. We will probably come back to that again at some point.

                      Ok no problem. This is something I havent noticed before until I did this very long landscape style render.

                          I believe it is fixed in the latest nightly builds.....
