transparency issue

  • transparency issue

    This is a simple plane with a tif image and a transparency tif on the opacity slot... i cant get rid of that square around the logo... any ideas?

    What if you try to use that map in refraction slot?
    It might give you better result.

      Looks like your transparency map isn't 100% black in the areas it should cut things out. Are there reflection settings on that material too? Would it be that the transparent parts of the map are still reflective? Is the entire sign casting a shadow?

        do you have the glass as one object then the logo on another object overlaid over the glass?

            i checked every thing you said and all i OK... the only thing i haven't checked was the casting shadow off... but after Turing it off the result continued the same...

              it was two different objects, the glass and a plane with the sign... then with you question... i did the o posit all in one object... and it worked!
