    This only affects a few lines of the code for the DMC image sampler; the rest of V-Ray is still 2.0.

      do I have to delete the environment variable with vray 2 SP1?

      ps. thanks a lot for your work! I bet you have to take some free time after working trough 75 versions of vray...

            does it mean that "old sampling method" has been totally stripped out from VR 2.0?

              No, it's still there; the environment variable still forces the old method to be used. However, even without it, V-Ray 2.0 SP1 will still produce cleaner results than the original 2.0 release.
