  • Mipmap off in blurry reflection when glossy value close to 0.98

    Hello Vlado

    Maybe this is a wishlist...

I notice that mipmap is OFF in blurry reflections to speedup rendering.
You don't notice anything with normal size object, but I'm only working with manufactured objects smaller than 40mm.. ans when you set glossy reflection to 0.99 to 0.98 you can see that mipmap is off.

Is-it possible to add a "per shader option", in the option Tab, to turn ON mipmap in blurry reflection ?
Do you think it's possible to get a fix easily?

    Best regards.

I believe there is already an checkbox in the Global options rollout called "Filter maps for GI" that does just that.

          Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

            Thanks a lot !!!

Seems to be a problem with powernurbs and not proper UVW.
