I have a simple scene where an object that has no reflection or refraction is placed over a viewport background. The background map is also in the 3ds Max environment. The background map is set to screen as I want to be visible within the render. However when I render you can see the background through the object. it is as if the object is transparent but it is not.
Any ideas?
