We have sometimes found that the vraycam is been corrupted and the position and rotation are reset to 0.0.0 when spawning.
That's why you have black buckets (if you don't have anything in 0.0.0) we trouble shooted that 2 years ago by putting a teapot at 0.0.-5 :-p
    Only happening when spawning tho.

That's very interesting - is it possible to attach example scene with corrupted camera ?

Next time it happens I will try and send a scene. If you search the forum, you will see quite a few topics on this.
      Kind Regards,

We had this, and found that if an xref had a camera in the same spot as the main file, you would get black buckets (even when ignore cameras was enabled)

Yeah ok, next time I've got the same error, I will try and strip down and send as well.

          Cheers

Confirmed! Duplicate your vraycam and re-render = problem solved.

I think we need this bug squashed please, Vlado and co

I think too, but they need a scene to troubleshoot
