  • is there a way to create a y-up position pass.?

    if i create a position pass with the sampler info texture i have the problem that i get it z-up...
    but i need a y-up pass for the nuke PositionToPoint node...
    my cam in nuke is also y-up...

    any ideas...?

    You'll have to swap the Y and Z components and negate one of them (not sure right away which one); this could be done with a shuffle node, I think.

      ive tried shuffle everything in all directions... but i wont get the right direction...

      edit: worked now...
      you have to swap green and blue and invert blue...

      thanks vlado without your int...
      otherwise i havnt tried it a second time...
