Where is the lens effects render element?

So there is bug with glare where it basically ruins the whole image. How can I just save the lens effects source as a render element so I can add glare in post? Is there a way too get the lens effects as a render element? Or is that also bugged. Is there any way to get this to work?

Can't show it for a few weeks, but it renders with the rgb channels out of place and they streak across the image. Doesn't happen all the the time, it seems really random.

I get this also a lot while trying to tweak the glare settings. Saving and opening will most times hide\fix the issue. The only way to recreate it (in any scene) is to fiddle with the glare settings and hit update effect a lot.

That being said, sometimes the effect is quite cool, like an oldfashioned analogue light leak into the camera casing....sort of.
