  • visible "Bucketing" and splotches in vrayfastsss2 channel/element

I have a glass material done started by the vrayfastsss2 water preset to get light keep inside it. I used a multisubobject material because instanciated geometries and their corrections obliged me to use it.
the only channel gives me this problem that came out into the final rgb channel in splotchiness and visible bucketing is the vrayfastsss2 one.
I tryed to uncheck the DR option I thought could be the cause of the bucketed solution only in some part of the image, when the material reflects itself onto another glass orthogonal to it, but no way the splotches and the bucketing are visible anyway.
    global illumination elements was clear
I used BF+LC in those menthioned cases.
I tryed elevated prepass until 1 not solves
I tryed with and without GI option into vrayfastsss2 mat
I increased the image sampler ratio 1/24 used to 1/64. to 1/100 still present splotches
Now I'm trying decreasing clr threshold from 0,004 to 0,002
    Thanks in advance

Seems the only way to solve the problem is to increase the single scatter subdivision parameters, even if seems that is not influenced by the global subds multiplier. I crancked up it and the results was the same only acting dirctly on the scatter subds increasing it i got the cleaned solution.

To be more precise, I found the universal setting with 8 subds in materials glossies subds (even into the single scatter subdivision slot) and 1/100 in adaptive dmc image sampler with values until 0,002 in its clr threshold gaves that bucketed effect even cranking up global subds multiplier to 8.

Hopes it can help in some way this post if not delete those.

Would it be possible to attach or send us the scene to: support@chaosgroup.com so we could investigate that issue further on?
