I'm using Forest Pack to scatter a crowd, and the crowd is using material ID's and the Vray Multi-Sub Texture in a few places. Most of the people are working fine, but 4 or 5 out of 50 or so are screwing up. See the screen cap:

Normal instance work fine, but the same geo scattered via Forest pack has mangled reflections and normals, as do the vrayproxy versions. Is there a known problem with material ID's and the proxies? I'm not sure why some would work and others not though - they are all done more or less exactly the same way (as far as I know)
