Vray 3 beta - Could not obtain license (-200)

Still not working...

License server working, reinstalled vray 3.0, reinstalled wibu-box drivers, in max still message "Could not obtain a license (-200)".....whats wrong?

What happens if you try to render? Do you get an error message in the V-Ray message log? If yes, what is it?

Would it be possible to run a remote session on your machine in order to find out what exactly is the issue ?

...I installed vray 3.0 on a clean machine (without parallel running vray 2.4)....now it works!

Hi, i ask for and extended time frame on beta licence, upgraded the dongle licence, the same problem "could not obtain licence -200), check the licence server,

Product 0x766130 Total Engaged Free
Render licenses 0 0 0
Interface licenses 1 0 1
DR licenses 0 0 0

so i remove dongle
uninstall wibu driver
download wibu
install wibu
plug dongle
NOTHING HAPPENS.

What can i do?
Is it going to be the same with every release?

It looks like you are using an old license server (it says Product 0x766130)?

And how i can get/use an updated licence server?

Is your license server the same machine you installed VRay 3 onto?

If not, you need to install the updated license server onto the computer hosting your VRay licenses. Once you have done that, all the licenses will work correctly.

Installed vray3 on my dongle pc, everything work as expect, but i have a question, if i want to work on 2.4, Do the licence server downgrade by doing that? or it keeps the new one. I want to test 3 on another pc

You should still have your 2.4 license and a VRay 3 license.

If the "other" pc is on the same network, just install VRay 3 on it, and then point the license to the machine with the VRay 3 License server, should be good to go. The 2.4 license should not be affected.

Well, the cookie crumble this way for me.

Main dongle pc (workstation)
installed vray 3
license server information, everything its as expected,
installed vray 3 on slave pc, everything its as expected.
----
i want to use vray3 on slave pc and work with 2.4 on main pc ( i have some projects going on atm)

deinstall vray3 on main pc and install vray2.4
license server information doesn't recognize vray3 licence, it says "Product 0x766130"

Seems that i cannot have vray2.4 and vray 3 on slave pc. Also i have only max2011, maybe if i install max2014, but for now i would like a workaround. Anyideas?

Oh, I see; a bit unusual configuration. Well, one solution would be to install V-Ray 3.0, copy the file vrlservice.exe somewhere (it is in "c:\program files\chaos group\v-ray\3dsmax NNNN for x64"), install V-Ray 2.4, and then copy the vrlservice.exe file from the 3.0 installation over.

Thanks, i'll do that; the thing is that it worked fine with the previous release, so i got confused.
