  • Irradiance map slow down when using matte object

    After making a plane a matte object and setting alpha contribution to -1, affect shadow and alpha on. The irradiance map slows right down when calculating where the object meets the matte floor. Using V-Ray 3.0. I currently have the matte object set tyo not affect reflection or refraction but even turning this back on slows it down even more.

    Which particular V-Ray build do you have?

    Other than that, there is an issue in our bug tracker related to this and we need to look into it.

      Using the latest 3.00.03, that's good that it is already a known issue.
