I have a problem that a scene which was working fine yesterday is now taking 10 mins to load, and 10 mins to come back to max after rendering.
It is not too big a scene, only 70mb in size. Fairly lightweight scene so far. A lot of lights that are instances... no plants or anything yet.
DR slaves are working fine, rendering fine, loading the scene fast.
It is max 2014 vray2 (.4.04) and the problem seemed to start when i installed SP5.
So I went back to SP3 but the problem persisted.
So I deleted all the proxies I had added to the scene to see if they caused it (which is the only change made to the scene that day.) but it did not fix it.
Just tested network speeds and they seem fast as ever to read (110mbs) and write (90mbs) files. (where the scene and textures are stored)
It is possible that it is windows related? I installed windows updates:
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - March 2014 (KB890830)

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.169.31.0)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2830477)

Any ideas?
Anyone else having the issue suddenly after todays windows updates? or SP5 for 2014?
