  • glossy refractions knocking out alpha

If you create a material and make the refract colour non black and glossiness amount less than 1.0. The alpha for the objects it is applied to is grey even if there is a fully opaque object behind.

Is this a bug or intended?

    Cheers,
    Olly

I worked fine in my quick tests - would it be possible to send us a sample scene along with the result you got in your environment.
Let us know which Vray version you are using.

This is a know bug with Affect All Channels option in Refractions in version 3.x which is not fixed yet - switch to Color+Alpha and it should work as expected.
