  • VrayHdri map channel bug in viewport

    Hi guys,
    i think i've found a bug (or a broken functionality) about vrayhdri map: the long request feature of support viewport shading has been added (i will never stop thanking for this), but it's broken when i use a different map channel from 1.
    It will render fine but won't work in the viewport.
    You can easily reproduce this, just create a second map channel with a UVWMap modifier and assign a VrayHdri with 3dsMax standard mapping and map channel:2, the viewport won't update.
    3dsMax 2014, Vray 3.00.07

      Hello,

      do you still experience this problem? Just tested it and it seems to work fine. There is only a minor glitch - sometimes the viewport is not updated immediately and you may have to click in the viewport to actually see newly selected mapping.
      Please let us know if you still experience this problem.

        Actually no, we still have this problem.
        I just tried with the new service pack and the issue is still there, i tried clicking everywhere (deselecting, reselecting, etc) but with no luck. As soon as i switch back to map channel 1 it works.

          My test was incorrect - I found the problem and it will be fixed soon.
          Meanwhile you may tweak it to display channel 2 by switching to realistic material mode in the Nitrous viewport. Unfortunately even in this mode It will work with map channels 1 and 2 only.
