Vlado, I don't have your email address so I can't CC you on the emails.
But I still haven't got the access to the nightly builds, after almost a dozen emails between me and support@chaosgroup.com !
Can you please just PM me a link to the latest nightly build?

Great, Thanks for the scores, I would have thought that the 8870s would be way faster than the 2690s.
Guess the 2699s are the fastest possible rig to have then?

        Cheers
        Stan

            Hi there,

Has this issue also been fixed for Maya/ Windows?

My E5-2699 rig is arriving in a few days and I am keen to get it running to its full potential asap.

            Many Thanks

My boss is currently looking into buying a 80 Thread machine and I was wondering if with Vray 3.3 will actually work out of the gate with these massive amount of threads? Or is this still only a nightly thing?
                  Cheers,
                  Oliver

The official builds will work, yes. You still need to set the environment variable VRAY_USE_THREAD_AFFINITY to "1" (without the quotes).

Thanks Vlado. What would be the maximum supported number of threads just out of curiosity?
                      Cheers,

Internally, V-Ray has a limit of 256 threads. We can extend to 1024, if needed. I'm not sure about the OS limits for Windows/Linux/Mac OS.

                        Best regards,
