Phoenixocean texture bug

I'm assuming you mean you can create the phoenix ocean from directly within Phoenix simulator ? I thin I tried this but I cannot remember why I used this other method. May have been render times or something.
Yes, I did increase edge length to reduce render times.
I'm intrigued now about the other method for setting up the infinite ocean ?!

yes it will. the displacement state is based on the rendered frame index, not on the cache index. you can have only single frame rendered in the entire animation, the simulator's content will be not animated, but the displacement will be.______________________________________________
