hi there,
I am having issues with the anisotropy on a brushed metal shader...
I noticed a weird flickering in my rendered animation, but only on one of the shaders.
I test rendered 2 adjacent frames where the jumping clearly occured and pinned down the problem to the anisotropy of the shader, once I turned it of, the jumping in the reflections dissappeared.
After some googling I found a post by Neil Blevins about anisotropy atrefacts and messed up smoothing.
One of the objects in the frame I tested had a turbosmooth on it, once I set that to respect smoothing groups, the error seemed to dissappear.
Can someone confirm this or has any advice on how to avoid this issue?
