This will happen if you change the number of render elements.

Are you using the VFB lens effects by the way?

        Hey Vlado,

Is there any chance you guys can correct this? We've been banging our heads against our desks for months trying to figure out WHAT is going on with the disappearing loaded vrimgs and I stumbled across this thread. It makes sense as to why, but there are a lot of times when we need to add an extra render element to a preexisting render and don't want to rerender everything just because we added a new RE. I understand that only the region will be rendered for the new RE, but 'throwing out the baby with the bathwater' is destructive. Is there some sort of a technical limitation to keep all the pixel data in the VFB despite adding or editing REs? Thanks!

It is complicated... but I will make a note to look into it.

I also noticed it sometimes when you have LightSelect elements and you change light properties. Anyways, it's annoying and it would be really cool if this could be fixed
