Quad menu: mesh exporter has disappeared

Has any one ever had this happen before? I created a few proxies for a projects, and continued working for an hour or so. I went to create another proxy, and the v-ray tools are missing from my quad menu. V-ray properties and v-ray mesh exporter, I think there are a couple other standard items missing too.

Try to execute updateVRayMenus() from the 3DS Max listener to get them back, but that is strange indeed.
Which V-Ray/3DS Max version is this?

I just had a similar situation, after a while of trawling the internet for fixes that link provided the solution. Thank you for the fix this bug is a killer The menu or Vray object properties was not eve available in the customise user interface menu options
