  • Error with Render to Texture

    Hi,
I'm trying to bake textures for a scene but while in the camera view everything looks fine not so much when I render to texture. I attach two images to show what I mean.
In the perspective the inner wall looks smooth while the texture is full of lines.

I checked that there's no double geometry. Secondary rays bias is set to 0,001. I tried with brute force and irradiance map and different lighting setup. Currently there's only a dome light set to white.

Well, seems to be not a very common problem but I could find the answer.
The lights used in the scene must have "store with irradiance map" on. Funnily it has nothing to do with irradiance map because it works when rendering it with brute force too.

Would it be possible to send us the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we could investigate further? Also which V-Ray version are you using?
