We are developing for the Rift/GearVR and Cardboard devices. In experimenting with stereoscopic spherical panoramas, I have a question about the Vray stereo helper. It is probably best explained by a plan diagram:-

Position '1' is looking straight ahead. This should work fine. However, as we are rendering a full 360 degree FOV, am I right in thinking that the VRay stereo helper will not work as position '3' means that there is no parallax?
In other words, is it actually sensible/possible to use the vray stereo helper to render a stereoscopic spherical panorama?
