    In 3.30.04, there's an option in the scene converter to convert opacity maps to refraction. Is it working for you?

      I didn't know you guys added that. It wasnt mentioned in the change log, but that's a BIG one to know. Thanks I'll try that and let you know.
      Is standard spot lights as bad as standard materials, or not as much?

          OK so not so smooth sailing. The prepass took over 4 hours, 18 hours into the render and the estimate is sitting at 55 hours and climbing. (I already clicked render before you told me about the refraction in the scene converter)

            Seems I have to do this manually anyway. Most of the standard materials has a diffuse of 255,255,255
