Is there any issues with IES lights in the latest MAX or V-Ray? Several jobs and I haven't been able to get them to work.

I find them pretty much useless unless you actually add an IES file into them

I was using an IES file. I ended up using RT, encreasing the brightness until I could see it, and ran with it. The intensity is so high I would have never had gueeses it had to be that bright.

If you have problems with VRayIES lights, please share the files or even better - the whole setups so we can check them. Also, please note that there are many not so decent IES profiles circulating the internet.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Is there a reliable source with IES files that work fine with Vray? I often have the problem that I need to manually edit the values of the IES in notepad because it has negative or flipped values.
