  • FloorGenerator V2.00 Not working when Using VRay DR

    Hello VRay Support,

Our studio have recently purchased CG-Source's floor generator. It is a plug-in and generates geometry through an object/space modifier.

    https://cg-source.com/floorgenerator.php

It seems to work on our local machines, but does not work with DR... ie, the geometry generated becomes non-existent. We have narrowed down the problem to DR, as tests using Backburner gives consistent results as local renders. We contacted CG-Source to try to investigate. They have done their own test with DR and it works fine for them. I was wondering if you could shed some light on what maybe causing our render nodes not to recognize this plug-in object/space modifier when using DR.

    Thank you for your help,

    Julie

Ive used floor generator for a long time and never had problems especially with the actual geometry. can you post a simple test scene that is not working for you?
    Cheers,

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but did you copy the plugin file to all the dr nodes?

Is MultiTexture_max plugin installed on all of your nodes?

Hi all, we've solved the problem internally by accident. We just had to restart each node after copying the plugin files. Hope this helps others that might have stumbled into this nuance.
