  • deforming mesh, motion blur and VrayProxy

I have animated deforming mesh. When rendered with motion blur I get artifacts:

so I export it to animated VrayProxy and get something like this:

The same behaviour in max 2016 and 2017/Vray 3.40.01

    Any thoughts?

What kind of mesh is it (mesh or poly)? How is the mesh animated? Does it work better if you point-cache it?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Mesh is animated by morphing and skin modifier.
      I didn't try point-cache...
I can send files tomorrow if you wish...

Thanks for the scene, it looks like there is something wrong with the Vertex Weld modifier or the way we handle it.
I completed a few sequences without it and it looks like it renders fine without it, would you please try to disable it and see if the issue disappears?
