    Try increasing the LC subdivs
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

yes it worked but I have to increase LC to 2000.
also worked when i switch off Adaptive lights with very low LC.

I've asked because first solution I thought was to disable the adaptive lights... did you tried to leave the LC samples as before and turn off only the adaptive lights option?

Why would you want to do that? I don't have the scene but I would bet that increasing the subdivs and leaving AL on would be better for the rendertime instead leaving them low and turning off AL.

Cause I've never thought that the number of samples of the LC was the reason for that kind of issues...due to my ignorance on LC, as it seems...

just did a quick test, AL on low subdivs render time is lots lots quicker than AL off high subdivs.

                  thanks guys

                    Read my post again

If you want the IES problem solved and a quicker rendertime than the alternative (low LC subs and AL off), use AL on and high LC subdivs.

                      Hey Johnny,

Would it be possible to get me your scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com to check what's going on? Ideally, we want things to render correctly without having to adjust anything.

                      Best regards,
                      Vlado
