  • RT CUDA error 700

    Hello,

    2x Geforce 1070 Driver 378...
    Vray 3.50.04

    ./src/ocl_tracedevice.cpp(2114) : CUDA error 700
./src/ocl_tracedevice.cpp(1674) : CUDA error 1 : one or more of the parameters passed to the API call is not within an acceptable range of values

Scene rendered with simple grey material override.

Any idea how to solve this ?

    Kind regards
    Alex

I'm also getting Error 700 with the nightly builds of Vray. With the latest stable version (3.50.04) I don't have this problem. Are you using a nightly by any chance?

Please try with 37X driver (more here).

Doh! It's even a sticky and I didn't pay attention to it! I confirm that this issue is now resolved for me by installing drivers 376.33.

          Hello,

the error appears with the driver version 178.92. Now I have just installed the 176.33 Version, but the error remains.

          ./src/ocl_tracedevice.cpp(2114) : CUDA error 700
./src/ocl_tracedevice.cpp(1674) : CUDA error 1 : one or more of the parameters passed to the API call is not within an acceptable range of values

          I use vray 35004 27377 max2014 daily stable from 27 Apr

Here are the available downloads, which of these would be best?

Try with 378.49 and if that doesn't work, please send me the scene for investigation.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

I've suddenly started getting error 700 again. It happens only in a particular scene if I add the Denoiser render element. I've just sent an email to support with the scene.
UPDATE: It happens regardless of which render element I add.
